Nic, Olga, Uri, Kathy and I ventured to Amsterdam for a quick weekend trip - fly in friday evening and back home sunday evening... its so close - less than 1hr flight... and such a pretty place. We stayed in a gorgeous 5* hotel which had an amazing deal on and the rooms overlooked a canal. I didn't realise but Amsterdam has more canals than Venice! We spent the two days wandering the many streets and canals, walking to see a windmill, visiting Anne Franks house, shopping, eating and having fun. It is a very interesting place indeed :) Here's a few pics of Amsterdam...
