July 2009 Part 2 - Dublin x 2 and Paris in a day

DUBLIN - WEEKEND #1

After a week in London it was time for Suzie to head home to the Emerald Isle. I went with Suzie for a weekend (and also went back for visit #2 the following weekend). We spent the first weekend visiting town, going for a wonderful dinner, visiting Suzie's cousin and going for a walk along the pier.

DUBLIN - WEEKEND #2

Nicola and I went over to Dublin the following weekend to visit Suzie and to do some sight seeing - it was Nic's first visit to Dublin. So saturday Nic and I hopped on the hop-on-hop-off bus around Dublin and visited the sights. First stop was Dublin castle.

Next stop... Kilmainham Goal (built 1787)

Followed by a visit to Jamieson Distillery...

Sunday Suzie took us to Powis Gardens followed by a walk along the pier.

PARIS DAY TRIP

The following weekend Suzie returned to London only to then head to Paris for a day trip on the Saturday... extremely long day but heaps of fun. I fall in love with Paris everytime I go there. We ate lots of crepes, saw the eiffle tower, went to Notre Dame, walked along Champs d'lysee, passed by the louvre and went up to Monte Marte.

And the next day it was off to Tunisia for a week ... check out part 3 of July's blog!
