July finally arrived bringing Suzie's visit with it! YAY!!! I met Suz bright and early on 27th June at the airport and it was off to see the London sights (and to keep Suzie awake for the day)... Our first day together started with coffee at the Portobello markets and then it was off to Borough markets for brunch with Nic- yum! With full bellies we decided to walk south bank for the rest of the afternoon followed by dinner with some of the girls that evening.
The next day if was off to Windsor to visit the Queen (unfortunately she wasn't at home though) but it was still good fun seeing the castle.
And whilst I couldn't take any time off work the following week, Suzie and I made the most of the evenings... we went to see Wicked the musical and also went to Wimbledon.
It was a busy start to Suzie's visit... stay tuned for part 2 and 3 of the July adventures....
