Hi everyone! Well my latest travels were to Tuscany, Italy on Easter long weekend (last weekend) for 4 nights / 5 days. It was fantastic! The weather was beautiful - a sunny average 22 degrees most days (which is heaven compared to London weather). I went with Nicola, her cousing Deb (who lives in Milan) and 12 other friends of Debs (who all live in Milan) and we stayed in this amazingly huge villa in a small town called Montecarlo. The villa had its own swimming pool (although it was too cold for swimming), 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and was set up on a hill.As you can imagine the food and wine in Italy is amazing! however, unfortunately I was sick with a stomach bug the whole trip so hardly ate and can count the glasses of wine I had on one hand - yes unbelievable I know!!! So I am looking forward to going back in the near future and enjoying all the lovely delights that I saw and smelt.
On our first full day there we went and explored Pisa. I have been to Pisa before but it still amazes me how the leaning tower is still standing! The main square and cathedral are also a great sight.

On day 2 we meandered through the walled town centre of Lucca through the cobblestoned streets and finding the many piazzas and churches and then walked on top of part of the surrounding wall (there is a walking path on top of the wall which goes around the whole town centre - approx 4klms long).

The afternoon of day 3 was spent lounging about in a natural hot spring spa which was unbelievably relaxing... and the scenery on the drive was nothing short of spectacular. And the evening consisted of a huge bbq event with a old wooden bbq!
Overall the weekend was so relaxing and fun, where I met lots of great people and got a touch of sun. I'm now looking forward to going to Milan and catching up with everyone again! I will need to touch up on my italian language skills first though!

My next trip is in two weeks for the first May long weekend that we have. I am off to France to visit the Champagne houses with Hannah (my flatmate) and her friends - I think there are about 12 girls altogether. Bring on the champagne!
However I do promise to try and update my blog a bit more regularly in between trips to keep you updated on london life :)
Hope everyone is well - would love to hear from you all!!!
Missing you all heaps xoxoxo
